Overhaul: A major overhaul was initiated earlier than scheduled to minimize downtime.
Repair Process:
Teams Involved: NV GEBE's production team collaborated with Wärtsilä's field service team.
Timeline: Wärtsilä's team arrived on August 18, 2024, to assist with the overhaul and reconditioning of components.
Reassembly: Following component reconditioning, reassembly was completed, leading to the engine's reinstatement.
